ABOUT ME

Fred was born and lived in Ardabil, the coldest city in Iran, until the end of his undergraduate studies.  He completed his Master's degree in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Tabriz, Iran, under the supervision of Prof. Ali Akbar Khandar. In 2016, he completed his doctorate at Shahid Beheshti University, Iran, where he conducted theoretical calculations to design spin crossover complexes under the supervision of Prof. Naser Safari. Fred started to work in the cosmetic industry as a Formulator in Kadus Group Company from 2013. After his PhD he spent two years as the Local R&D Manager for MSM United Inc, a Canadian cosmetic company, in the Middle East. In 2019, he moved to Canada to join Dr. John F. Trant's Group with research focus on the use of computational chemistry for prostate cancer (PC) and determining peptide function employing unnatural amino acids. He worked as a technical manager of Grant Industries company in Canada as well. Fred continues his research career both in academic and industrial settings in his desire to gain more insight into the fascinating world of peptides and Cosmeceutical ingredients and their role in the cosmetic "skin and hair care" products.
